HAHAHAHAHA!! loved this marie! sad, but true. life is sooo not fair sometimes. i've had my fair share of buck teeth, zits, braces, and not being all that cool:) and i never got asked to a dance ever! :( but i was a good person who made good choices. and hey i was even voted "most friendly" in my class so i guess by my senior year my ugliness and lack of coolness wasn't too bad. i was at least thought of as nice:) but when it was all said and done, it didn't matter, its part of what made me who i am today. and i'm happy with me :) and i cant' wait to go to a hs reunion(i missed my 10 year but hope to go to the next) so i can show off my handsome man and my gorgeous kids. booyah! look at holly now yall!!! hahaha

Life isn't always fair Marie,but I don't grumble.My schooldays I loved and I can honestly say I never had a dull moment thier,or a day I didin't enjoy.Maybe I was one of theearly birds who caught the worm so to speak.I was a bit of a favourite,but I think that was because I did so much for the school.Winning trophy's for this and that etc.Love the recepe and I make something similar often Yummy.Love your graphics too .Have a lovely Sunday Evening.Take Care God Bless Kath xxx

Lawdy, Marie! I could have written this myself ... the motions as a child were sure there ... but I look back now with no regrets. Life's experiences no doubt made me a far strongly survivor & fighter than had I been in the spoiled, privileged, pampered arena. TY for writing this today ... great food for thought for all.

We went to one reunion, a combined 4 years which would cover both of our classes. I had many chuckles & have no regrets ever for how my life turned out vs many of the others that were the 'diamonds' in our classes.

The artwork is just darling.

You're absolutely right..Life isn't always fair.I just have to go to a mall..and see people in wheelchairs..:( etc..and others with a skip to their walk:(Or visit a hospital..or know of someone with 5 children and others not able to have any..
There is a home in the are that has enough room for 8 families..yet it is empty half the time)

there must be a deeper reason for all of this somewhere.

Your story ended up making me smile..I've never been to a reunion..

Hi Marie, thanks for the chuckle. I know what you mean about being at the end of the line cos your initial was at the end of the alphabet. Mine was "R". It's now "C" but at my age I don't get any special privileges, LOL, so you are right, life isn't fair!! I like the sound of the recipe, a bit like bubble and squeak and I always did love that. I did have a smile when I was reading about the injustices of our initials tc etc !!!but it is so true...The thing I had never realised was that people didn;t have as long a name as I did. when it cam etow riting out your name on papers etc. it had to be youe whole name not just the initials...trust Mum and Dad to give me 4 names !!
Just LOVEthat recipe all my favs. in one dish...a real winner...bet it is with Todd as well.

I agree life is far from fair. Especially at school. BTW i was saddled with W and deafness. Great combo at times. I would either be zoned out or exhausted from trying to hear by the time they reached my name.
